What DecafCo say

Small Batch Series - Ethiopia Suke Quto - Tesfaye Bekele’s (Swiss Water® Process)

Great coffee, minus the caffeine chaos. This limited Small Batch release comes from Tesfaye Bekele’s Suke Quto farm in Ethiopia’s Guji region - a producer celebrated for conservation-led farming, reforestation after regional wildfires, and coffees grown to organic and Rainforest Alliance standards. The result is a decaf that respects both flavour and origin.

The farm & philosophy

After years working in environmental restoration, Tesfaye Bekele established Suke Quto and the Suke Quto Washing Station, now supporting over a hundred local outgrowers. The farm sits at 1,800–2,000 MASL on rich volcanic soils, uses organic composting, manages mill water in dedicated lagoons, and invests back into the community (including local school initiatives). It’s coffee grown with care—and it shows in the cup.
