About Everybean

Every roaster has their own site and describes their coffee their own way. Finding a particular coffee means opening one after another and reading all of them.

Everybean puts them all on one page. Each listing shows what the coffee is, what the roaster says about it, where it was roasted, and what it costs per 100g. Where it was roasted matters: coffee is best within a few weeks of roasting, so a roaster near you ships fresher.

Every bag has somebody behind it. They chose that coffee, decided how to roast it, and can tell you why. Most roasters are glad to be asked, and the ones near you are the easiest to visit.

We read every roaster’s site again and again, so the list follows what they put out. New beans turn up, and sold-out ones are marked.

Every coffee shows the date we last read its page.

I’m Daniel Bailey and I build and run Everybean from Sydney. I put it out in case it was useful to anyone else. The contact form comes straight to me.

The beans, and the tasting notes, are taken from the roasters’ own product pages. Even so, mistakes happen. Roasters all write differently, and some pages are hard to read even for a human.

If you spot something wrong, tell us. Fixes are checked against the roaster’s site and are usually live within a day. If you’re a roaster and you don’t want your coffee listed, tell us and it comes down straight away, without any argument.

Tell us about something that’s wrong

Every Buy button takes you to the roaster’s own product page. Everybean doesn’t sell anything and doesn’t touch the price. You pay the roaster what the roaster asks. The click passes through Everybean on the way so we can count it, and so the roaster can see in their own analytics that we sent you.

Everybean is free and there are no accounts. If it makes money one day, it will be from roasters paying to be featured, and anything paid for will say so on the page.
