What Wolff Coffee Roasters say

Bright & Juicy

From the misty peaks of Oaxaca’s Sierra Mazateca comes a coffee that shines with mountain freshness and effortless balance. Each cup bursts with bright citrus and delicate sweetness, a lively expression of Mexico’s high-altitude terroir. It’s clean, refined, and beautifully composed.

Flavour & Notes

This cup opens with a gentle lemon brightness, layered over a white-sugar sweetness that gives a crystalline clarity. As it cools, a rush of berry-juice juiciness unfolds, soft and refreshing. The light-to-medium roast brings precision and vibrancy, leaving a smooth, sparkling finish that invites another sip.

This lot is grown by smallholder producers around the village of Peña Colorada in Oaxaca’s Sierra Mazateca region. Nestled between 1,600 and 1,800 metres above sea level, the farms are tended with traditional care hand-pulped, fermented in wooden tanks, and dried slowly on woven petate mats. These time-honoured methods bring purity and balance to every cup, reflecting the dedication of a community deeply rooted in its craft.

Why You’ll Love It

If you’re drawn to coffees that dance with bright citrus and fruit-forward sweetness, Peña Colorada Washed is your perfect match. Think of it as sunshine in a cup - crisp, clean, and joyfully refreshing.
