What it makes
- Body
medium
he has also attached DIF (Delter Infusion Filter) to ensure an even cleaner cup
worked out from the recipe · The infusion filter and no-bypass technique reduce fines in the cup; a cleaner, filtered pressure-immersion brew at 1:16.7 reads as medium body
- Strength
medium
Ratio 1: 16.7
worked out from the recipe · A 1:16.7 ratio is on the lighter side of standard filter brewing, suggesting medium strength
- Acidity
high
“Alec seeks to achieve a clean, fruit forward coffee where you can identify the amazing notes of whiskey, overripe apricots and a spicy oak finish.”
said in the original · Fruit-forward character with overripe apricot notes implies elevated acidity
- Sweetness
medium
overripe apricots
worked out from the recipe · Overripe fruit descriptors suggest sweetness is present but the method's emphasis is on clarity and fruit acidity rather than sweetness specifically; inferred as medium
- Style
clarity
“he has also attached DIF (Delter Infusion Filter) to ensure an even cleaner cup”
said in the original · Creator explicitly targets a cleaner cup, indicating clarity orientation
- Suits
light, medium roasts
Alec seeks to achieve a clean, fruit forward coffee where you can identify the amazing notes of whiskey, overripe apricots and a spicy oak finish.
worked out from the recipe · Fruit-forward, clarity-focused goals and a relatively cool temperature ceiling of 96°C suit light to medium roasts; no dark roast is mentioned or implied
Where the original recipe does not say how the coffee tastes, the flavour here is an estimate.
