We have bought naturally processed from Chebega in the Hambela Wamena Woreda before, and while looking for a replacement for the Dikitu in our Moonface blend, this washed lot stood out. Expect buttery and caramelised sweetness, some red and black berries, peachy florals and a light citrus finish.
Area: Hambela Wamena Woreda, Guji Zone
We have bought naturally processed from Chebega in the Hambela Wamena Woreda before, and while looking for a replacement for the Dikitu in our Moonface blend, this washed lot stood out.
As is the case across Ethiopia, smallholders (owning less than one hectare of land) deliver cherry to the mill, and are paid premiums depending on the grades they deliver, this washed lot is super clean and juicy, expect buttery and caramelised sweetness, some red and black berries, peachy florals and a light citrus finish.
