What Everyday Coffee say
Another stunner Ethiopian from our last harvest. This time a dense, heavily fruited coffee from the Sidama region, specifically Gara Agena washing station. Gara Agena is a famous washing station set up by the inimitable Testi Coffee - leaders in the industry for coffee quality and development. They have done some incredible work to champion quality focused producers and drive up prices for everyone (meaning more money in producer pockets). This particular lot is a special prep, meaning only the ripest cherries were picked, by a small group of farmers on one day, kept separate to make sure only the best of best made it into these bags! We love coffees from this region and it’ll be easy to understand why with tasting notes of intense blackberry, jammy peach with cola and cacao flavours. This coffee will be best on filter and batch but delicious just about anywhere really! Enjoy it while it lasts as we were lucky to secure it and won’t have it available in the year to come!
