Rosa Mego’s connection to coffee began in her childhood, growing up in a coffee-farming family in Cutervo, Peru. Together with her husband, Segundo
Olivera, she built her own project in San José de Lourdes, naming their farm El Eucalipto after a eucalyptus planting initiative. Coffee has been central to supporting their family, and since 2018, with guidance from Caravela, Rosa has focused on producing higher-quality coffee, transforming both their processes and their livelihood.
Today, Rosa continues working to improve her farm, aiming for greater organization and efficiency while expanding infrastructure. Alongside her family, she remains deeply committed to quality, taking pride in the progress they’ve achieved and the future they continue to build through coffee.
