What Sixpence Coffee say
What We're Tasting: A sweet honey body, with soft peach and pear notes. This coffee is subtle and delicate, allowing the gentle hints of citric acidity to shine.
Chelbesa Kebele farm is known by the locals as the farm with shade, named for the forest canopy which covers some of the grounds. This coffee is intercropped with enset (Ethiopian banana), which gives the soil a nutrient rich boost. Thanks to its optimum altitudes and incredible community of farmers and producers, Chelbesa is renowned for its premium quality beans.
