What Bun Coffee say
A smooth, well-textured cup carries lots of cantaloupe, stone fruit, green grape, and honey up front. Rounded yet bright, orange and nectarine acidity carries through to a delicate floral finish.
This Pacamara varietal is grown and harvested in Volcancito, a micro-region of Boquete, at an altitude ranging from 1300m to 1400m. The coffee is then sun-dried in raised beds and exported worldwide between December and May each year.
Pacamara trees are dense and short in stature, growing up to no more than 1.5m high. They are robust plants that survive low to the ground, making them more resistant to harsh weather conditions and helping to provide a more consistent annual yield.
Each of these variables from the region to the coffee tree, plays a unique role in helping to create this distinct and complex coffee desired by many in their search for a high-quality specialty cup.
