What Cafetal Coffee Company say
Some coffees are made to be drunk. This one is made to be remembered. The Mountain Blend brings together two of Colombia's most compelling varieties — the traditional, reliable Castillo and the extraordinarily exotic Gesha — in a single, meticulously crafted blend that is as rare as it is refined.
Both varieties are sourced directly from Liliana Caballero at Hacienda Casablanca, nestled at 1,550 metres in the Santander highlands. This is honest direct trade — transparent, traceable, and rooted in a genuine long-term relationship with the farmer and the land.
Gesha is one of the world's most sought-after varieties. Finding it blended with Castillo at this quality level — and at direct-trade prices — is a rare opportunity.
