El Desarrollo
Colombia

blackberry
apricot jam
This mixed Caturra/Colombia lot provides intense body and sweetness; malt & toffee, with refreshing apple & berry acidity, which makes for a juicy black coffee, while providing intense sweetness when roasted as the backbone of our Strider blend.
Area: Gigante, Huila Department
This is our third year buying coffee from El Desarrollo – the Association of Coffee Growers in the Gigante municipality from the Huila department. The coffee is grown by 220 small and medium-size association members located on the Western slopes of the East Andes, and we love the classic washed coffee they produce.
