What Five Senses Coffee say

Herbal complexity, creamy lime & dark jammy fruits.

---

Second generation farmer, Juana Jose Ramirez, is using quality to support her family in the remote Huehuetenango region.

Juana and her husband farmed side by side before he had to emigrate to find additional work to support their family.

Unfortunately, this is not an uncommon story, with many smallholder producers struggling to make enough money from their coffee. Thankfully, Juana has some great support through her El Sendero cooperative membership who provide valuable information and drive producer gender equality. And, as you'll taste in this washed lot, her focus on quality is paying off, making the most of her farm's 1650 - 1720masl altitude and careful processing of ripe cherries. Thanks to our exporter friends Primavera Coffee, Five Senses is proud to feature Juana's coffee for the first time!
