What Margaret River Roasting Co say
Country/Region: Pitalito, Huila, Colombia
Grown in the volcanic soils of Pitalito, Huila at up to 1,900 metres, Las Moras benefits from some of Colombia's most complex microclimates. Beans are hand-selected, then put through a 24-hour oxidation stage before depulping, a step that deepens the aromatic profile before natural drying locks it in.
The cup is rich and enveloping. Blueberry jam and a dark rum and raisin sweetness carry the body, with a whisper of cardamom spice on the finish that keeps it from ever feeling heavy.
