What Paradox Coffee Roasters say
Crafted for espresso, this vibrant coffee comes from Mara Coffee near Lolgorien in Narok County, just a few kilometres from the Maasai Mara. Established in 2019, Mara Coffee is a young project pioneering specialty coffee production in a region where coffee is still emerging alongside traditional Maasai pastoral land. Ripe coffee cherries are carefully handpicked and sorted before undergoing a four-day barrel fermentation, developing depth, sweetness, and intensity. The coffee is then slowly dried on raised beds, with repeated hand sorting throughout to ensure a clean, consistent profile. In the cup, notes of cranberry, candied apple, and dried dates create a vibrant, fruit-forward espresso with a rich sweetness.
