Chelbesa

Chelbesa, located in the Gedeo Zone of the Gedeb District, is one of the top coffee-producing areas in the renowned Gedeb Woreda. Surrounded by lush, semi-forest vegetation and shaded by coffee trees, it’s a perfect example of sustainable coffee agro-ecology. The wet mill uses ceramic fermentation tanks, which help retain heat and speed up the fermentation process, resulting in coffees with incredible clarity and flavour. This is our fifth year working with the Chelbesa Washing Station - we always look forward to what each harvest brings!
