Regional Decaf Espresso

Decaf Espresso - Colombia (Tolima)

Our Colombian Decaf Espresso from the Tolima region is crafted to deliver the full coffee experience without the caffeine. This premium decaf uses the unique sugar cane process, a gentle and natural method that preserves the rich, authentic flavors of the bean.

Indulge in the sweet and smooth notes of Turkish delight, chocolate fudge, and a hint of peach. Perfect for those who seek a satisfying coffee experience any time of the day or night.

Why Sugar Cane Process?

The sugar cane method, celebrated in Colombia, involves a careful decaffeination process that uses water, steam, and natural ethyl acetate derived from sugar cane. This allows for caffeine removal without harsh chemicals, maintaining the bean’s natural structure and flavor integrity.

1. Hydration: The beans are gently steamed to open their pores.

2. Decaffeination: They are then immersed in a sugar cane solution, removing 99.9% of caffeine.

3. Purification: Finally, the beans are cleaned and dried, returning them to their natural state with the same moisture level.

This decaf is roasted for versatility, performing beautifully as a straight espresso or in milk-based drinks. Enjoy a smooth, flavourful cup with all the depth you’d expect from a specialty coffee – minus the caffeine.
