What Altura Coffee say
Mountain Water Decaf - Single Origin Decaf Coffee Beans
Single origin from Mexico, decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Method — chemical free, flavour intact. Nutty, hazelnut, caramel, malt.
Proof that decaf doesn't have to be a compromise. Roasted fresh in Adelaide by Altura Coffee.
All the flavour, none of the caffeine. Single origin from Mexico — Chiapas, Oaxaca and Veracruz regions. Bourbon varietal, medium roasted to bring out nutty, hazelnut, caramel and malt notes. Proof that decaf doesn't have to be a compromise.
Decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Method at Latin America's first decaffeination plant in Córdoba, Veracruz. The water used comes from Pico de Orizaba — Mexico's highest mountain. Pure glacial water gently removes caffeine through osmosis while the essential flavour compounds stay locked in the bean. No chemicals, no solvents, just water. Awarded a gold star Superior rating by the International Taste & Quality Institute in Brussels.
