What Bun Coffee say

Notes of soft pear, dark chocolate, dates, and vanilla are present up front. A berry acidity and smooth silky texture carry through to an almond and caramel finish.

The farms of the Dutra family are located in the wonderful region of Matas de Minas, in the municipalities of São João do Manhuaçu and Caputira, in Minas Gerais State.

The altitude ranges from 700 to 1300 meters and the Coffee is cultivated there is more than one century in perfect harmony with the environment, between rocks, waterfalls, and forests.

The climate, the soil and the altitude provide delightful aromas, flavours and a balanced body recognised by several coffee quality competitions, national and international.

The Dutra Family preserves the environment by incorporating the coffee plantation in the native environment with respect, planting “green curtain” against strong winds in order to obtain more biological control against the pests that hits the coffee reducing the use of pesticides. The farm focuses on the preservation of the springs and the waterfalls by managing the water used in the process of the Fully-Washed and Semi-Washed.

The farm also reuses the coffee husk and Pergamino as fertiliser for the plantation. All plastic materials are managed correctly to be recycled.

The Dutra Family provides its employees with the opportunity to attend training courses; offers safety equipment for work; encourages the plantation of greenery and gardens in the employees' houses; and supports the “Programa de Saúde da Família” that brings the doctor to the farm, watching over the health, and the local school where the kids have the opportunity to study.
