Godfather has a few goals. First, adhere to Commonfolk's ethical sourcing framework wholeheartedly. Second, hit those classic flavours Melbourne coffee is known for. It celebrates buying good, sustainable coffee without hiding behind roasting too dark. All the while being 100% partnership based coffee.

The majority of Godfather owes itself to the fantastic Gabriel Oliveira and his family. Multi-generational coffee farmers and agronomists, it’s fair to say they know a bit about coffee. Theirs is Commonfolk's longest standing partnership, with us since very nearly day dot.. With value alignment like no other, you’d swear we read their manifesto before writing ours. Topped up with rotating coffees from our other partners including Zukuka Bora in Uganda and Divino Niño in Colombia. It may change a smidge from season to season, year to year, but it's always the Godfather you know and love. Created specifically to give you a banging cap, latte or flatty. Tried and true chocolate, sweet caramels and a nutty finish. You’re going to have a good time.

Notes : Godfather is that classic flavour we all love, perfect in milk. Milk chocolate, caramel and all the nuts. Tighter extraction for those darker and richer brown sugar flavours, quicker extraction times give lighter caramel notes.
