What Fish River Roasters say
A popular choice among cafes and restaurants, the Tiger Snake Blend boasts a captivating combination of Central American, Southeast Asian, and East African coffees. Awarded medals at the Golden Bean competition, it's a venomously good coffee
The story of how the Tiger Snake Blend got its name takes place during the final stages of this blends development. The Fish River Valley is home to a lot of tiger snakes and they would occasionally visit our old roastery at Fish River.
We were tasting coffee outside in the sun when the grass started rustling nearby. A tell tale sign of a reptile on the move. We made a hasty retreat back inside to the roaster and decided to honour our slithery local by naming our new blend, The Tiger Snake Blend. This unique blend, comprising coffee from Central America, Southeast Asia, and East Africa, is not just an award-winner but a tribute to the wild spirits of our valley.
