What Five Senses Coffee say

Lemon yoghurt, blackberry & bergamot.

---

From the highlands of La Libertad, Huehuetenango, comes El Senegal — a beautifully washed Caturra and San Ramon grown at 1800–2000masl. This lot from producer Porfirio Martinez offers a vibrant cup, where creamy lemon yoghurt notes meet juicy blackberry and a lifted bergamot finish. Porfirio partners with the renowned Vides family, who have been shaping Guatemalan specialty coffee since Dr. Jorge Vides founded Finca La Bolsa in 1958. Alongside pioneering quality, the family has invested deeply in community impact, from founding a local school to creating child-labour prevention programs. Careful handpicking, water fermentation, and patio drying over 15 days ensures a clean, expressive profile. El Senegal stands as both a testament to Porfirio’s craft and the enduring legacy of Vides: exceptional coffee produced with care for people and place.
