What Commonage Coffee Co. say
Guatemala Huehue
Cup Profile: Citrus acidity with grape, chocolate & stone fruits notes
Located to the north of the country, Huehuetenango is one of Guatemala's three non-volcanic regions. Its geographical terrain and its remote location greatly differentiate these coffees to others in Guatemala. The terrior contributes to the distinct flavours found in this coffee. The extreme remoteness means that most producers need to process their own coffees. It is quite uncommon in this region to find a centalised wet mill. Most producers within this area own a few hectares in which they will grow, wet-process and dry their own coffees.
