What Inglewood Coffee Roasters say
Sourced from the West Valley region of Costa Rica, this yellow honey microlot is produced by Finca Volcán Azul, a fifth-generation family estate renowned for its longstanding commitment to quality, innovation, and environmental conservation.
Grown at high altitude in rich volcanic soil, this caturra varietal undergoes a carefully managed yellow honey process, enhancing sweetness, texture and depth throughout the cup.
In the cup, it presents a rich and expressive profile, with notes of stewed plum, red currant, roasted hazelnuts and a subtle wine-like character, balanced by a smooth, lingering finish.
"And it won't be the last! The fruity notes are distinctly outstanding, a good batch of beans away from the normal blends I purchase from Inglewood. Well done, what an excellent morning coffee. . . my family and friends are all inviting themselves over for arvo tea!"
"Another top choice by the team at Inglewood. This bean gave us great pleasure. It wouldn't be our ongoing daily favourite but we enjoy mixing it up and it suited us perfectly for that."
