What Parallel Roasters say
Sítio Romão, owned by Cirlene and José Antônio Romão, sits in the mountainous region of Espírito Santo, Brazil, at elevations of 930–1000 meters above sea level. The farm’s cool climate and fertile landscape create ideal conditions for producing highquality specialty coffee.
The family began focusing on specialty production around 20 years ago after experimenting with pulped coffee processing and receiving encouraging feedback from tasters. Today their 9- hectare farm—8 planted with Mundo Novo, Catuaí, and Catucaí— is harvested manually with careful cherry selection.
This lot is processed using the pulped natural method and dried on patios and raised beds, producing a sweet, clean cup that reflects the family’s dedication and their multi-generational coffee-growing legacy.
