This peaberry lot comes from the Gakui farm on the slopes of Mount Kenya, where a long, double fermentation and soak give the beans their famously complex acidity. Enjoy dried apple and fresh plum up front, with a mild burnt sugar sweetness and a candy-like finish.

Part of the Gakundu Farmers Cooperative, Gakui reinvests in its growers with pre-financing for school fees and farm inputs.
