What Reverence Coffee say
We have been buying coffees from El Borbollon for almost 10 years, they have been a staple of our blends as they are consistent, high quality, and delicious examples of a sweet and creamy El Salvadorean coffee.
Located in the highlands of the Santa Ana Volcano, El Borbollon Mill produces high-
quality coffee through a meticulous milling process.
Owned and operated by the Alvarez family, who have a long history of growing coffee in El Salvador, the mill draws its coffees from the families two main farms.
All the coffees are shade-grown and hand-picked, they are then pulped and fermented 16-20 hours before being dried on traditional clay patios.
The farms are pre-dominantly planted with Red Bourbons however slowly the family is experimenting with Orange and Yellow Bourbons as well.
