What Ritual Coffee say
"Nestled on the shores of Lake Kivu in Rwanda's Western Province, Kirorero Washing Station is one of the most remote coffee processing sites in the country. Operated by the COOPAC cooperative, the station receives coffee from more than 1,500 smallholder farmers who deliver their harvest by foot, bicycle and even boat. Despite its isolation, Kirorero consistently produces exceptional coffees that showcase the region's rich volcanic soils and ideal growing conditions. Beyond coffee quality, COOPAC is deeply committed to supporting local communities through environmental initiatives, agricultural education, healthcare programs and infrastructure projects that improve farmers' livelihoods."
