What Barefoot Roasters say
From the high Andean slopes of Huila, one of Colombia's most celebrated coffee regions, La Planta is a natural-process coffee bursting with sweetness and fruit. The cherries are dried whole with the fruit still intact, letting the beans soak up natural sugars and develop a rich, jammy character.
In the cup, expect a full, velvety body layered with ripe red berries and juicy tropical fruit, rounded out by a complex, wine-like depth that lingers long after each sip. It's bold enough to impress as espresso, yet vibrant and nuanced as a pour-over.
Grown by smallholder farmers in Huila's fertile valleys, where rich soils, steady rainfall and high altitude create ideal conditions for exceptional coffee, La Planta is a celebration of Colombian terroir at its most expressive.
