What Blue Sky Coffee Roasters say

Treehouse is our classic house espresso blend, built as the middle ground between modern specialty coffee and the bold, darker roasts many people know and love. It is full-bodied, dependable and designed primarily for milk, with enough bitterness and depth to cut through without becoming harsh. This latest version combines equal parts washed Vietnamese peaberry, washed Mexican coffee and natural Brazil, creating a rich, structured cup with notes of dark chocolate, malt, roasted nuts and caramel.

The Vietnamese peaberry is the more unusual component, roasted long, low and slow to develop a heavy body, malty sweetness and a firm dark-chocolate bitterness. That bitter edge is an important part of Treehouse, giving the blend its own identity and keeping it distinct from the sweeter Midnight Oil profile. The Mexican coffee adds a gentle brightness that lifts the heavier components, while the natural Brazil brings roundness, structure and the familiar chocolate-and-nut character that makes classic espresso blends so satisfying. Through milk, it leans towards chocolate almond, brownie and caramel fudge.

Treehouse is made to be easy to brew, whether it is being used on a commercial machine or a simple home setup with a built-in grinder. It produces a thick crema, extracts evenly and remains remarkably consistent, making it a reliable everyday coffee for busy cafés and home drinkers alike. Bold without being overwhelming and traditional without feeling dated, Treehouse is a smooth, crowd-pleasing espresso blend that simply works.
