Vietnam coffee, roasted in Australia
40 beans from 21 Australian roasters. The most common roasts are medium, dark and medium dark. The roasters describe these beans most often as chocolate, caramel & sweet, nutty and creamy body.
Vietnam is the second largest coffee producer in the world and most of what it grows is robusta: strong, bitter and heavy, made for the sweetened iced coffee the country drinks. The arabica is newer and comes from higher ground around Da Lat and Son La, where it is milder and sweeter.
