What De Groot Coffee Company say

Colombia Decaf Coffee

A sweet, smooth and carefully processed decaf coffee from Peru, made for those who want the comfort and flavour of a quality cup without the caffeine. Grown between 1700–2070 MASL, this coffee offers excellent sweetness, a clean body and a gentle, balanced character.

This coffee is decaffeinated using a sugar cane and water process, where caffeine is extracted from the bean while helping preserve the coffee’s natural flavour. This method is known for enhancing sweetness, giving the cup a soft, rounded profile that still feels rich and satisfying.

Expect a mellow and approachable coffee with a smooth sweetness, gentle acidity and a clean finish. The sugar cane process helps maintain the original coffee attributes, so it still drinks like a proper specialty coffee rather than a flat or muted decaf.

It works beautifully as espresso, plunger or long black, and is especially enjoyable with milk, where its natural sweetness and body create a creamy, comforting cup.
