What De Groot Coffee Company say

Peru San Ignacio Coffee

A rich, sweet and beautifully balanced Peruvian coffee from San Ignacio, crafted for those who enjoy a comforting cup with depth, body and gentle fruit complexity. Grown between 1200–1500 MASL and produced from Caturra and Catuai varietals, this coffee offers a classic profile with enough brightness to keep it lively and expressive.

Expect medium acidity, a full body and a high level of natural sweetness. In the cup, soft citrus notes of cooked orange and tangerine bring warmth and brightness, while dark chocolate and almond flavours create a smooth, nutty finish.

This is a versatile coffee that works beautifully across everyday brew methods. As espresso, it gives a sweet, full-bodied cup with chocolate and nutty depth. With milk, it becomes creamy and comforting, with the dark chocolate and almond notes coming forward. Brewed black, the citrus sweetness becomes more noticeable, giving the cup a clean and rounded finish.

A dependable, flavourful coffee with a lovely balance of sweetness, nuttiness and body.
