With a long history of more than 16 years since we became certified and supporters of the Rainforest Alliance (RFA), we continue to support this great program.

Whilst also participating in FAIRTRADE and Organic certification programs, it's here in the RFA where we believe a more sustainable future for farmers can be achieved.

The Rainforest Alliance helps educate farmers to conserve land through natural shade and complementary farming practices.

Most of the RFA coffee we purchase is shade or partially shade grown.

These coffees are planted alongside beautiful canopies of tall trees allowing a more natural composting and fertilizing process from the mulch.

Ultimately, we think RFA coffees can be a noticeable step above traditional coffees in terms of quality and cup character.

Guide - Works either tight or loose in the espresso shot and ultimately what you choose will depend upon your taste preferences.

Espresso uses 50% soft and 50% hard beans so dialing in the grinder might take a few attempts.

Once you have it right, there will be delicious rewards with both stone fruit and dried fruits lifting the cup from it's base of caramel and dark chocolate.

While many companies use just the minimum 30% RFA ratio, we are proud to say this coffee consists of 100% RFA certified coffee beans . It is designed with specialty-grade coffees from 4 different premium, RFA-certified producer regions. As such, our Amazon blend is controlled by the regulations governing the sale of authentic Rainforest Alliance products.
