What Padre Coffee say

Golden Rule is all about balance.

Rich and structured with a soft fruit lift, this espresso moves easily between black and milk. Stone fruit sweetness leads the way, supported by maple syrup notes, hints of citrus and a gentle malty finish. It’s composed, dependable and rewards a little attention without ever demanding it.

Golden Rule Espresso Blend is also the first blend to be featured in our Good Coffee Doing Good Program in which we partner with organisations to give back, support, and foster our communities - both local and global.

Espresso Blend Description

Golden Rule is all about balance. Rich and structured with a soft fruit lift, it brings peach sweetness together with maple syrup, orange and a gentle malty finish. It moves easily between black and milk, rewarding a little attention without ever demanding it.

The current blend pairs Guatemalan and Papua New Guinean coffees for a sweet, structured espresso with enough fruit to shine black and enough depth to carry through milk.

Through the sales of Golden Rule, we will be raising funds for some meaningful organisations and projects, donating $4 for each kilo sold across our retail and wholesale operations.

We’re incredibly proud to announce our latest partnership is with Agency Projects – an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander not-for-profit organisation.

Agency Projects is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander not-for-profit organisation working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the country to identify, develop and sustain initiatives that promote, celebrate and support cultural practice, allow Indigenous leadership to thrive, and ultimately feature strong participation and economic opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This year’s campaign focuses on the important work being undertaken at Jilamara Arts and Crafts Association to preserve Tiwi Culture, where artists and the broader community are creating a multi-media knowledge centre and digital archive for the audiovisual documentation and distribution of Tiwi heritage. The archive project, Wurrungura, will celebrate and safeguard cultural knowledge on the Tiwi islands.

Purchasing our Golden Rule Espresso Blend will directly assist Agency to deliver this powerful initiative and others like it.
