What Reuben Hills say

Grown in the northern reaches of Colombia's Huila department, where warm, dry days sit above 1,800 metres and volcanic soil runs rich beneath the trees, the scene is set for quality growing.

It's a different pocket of Huila to what most people picture, drier and hotter than the south. But the high altitude slows cherry growth, giving it time to develop sugars and complexity before harvest.

Small family farms tend to every step by hand, from picking to washing, and it shows as real care in the cup: a dark chocolate base lifted with soft vanilla, cut through with a bright cranberry tang.
