Jhonny Corina has owned his 8-hectare farm since 2015. There, he maintains over 16,000 trees, including Gesha, Castillo, and Java varieties alongside citrus trees, plantains, and other native plants. The farm is located in the La Asunta municipality in a tropical region with a humid climate and abundant rainfall, making it ideal growing conditions for coffee. The soil is rich in nutrients due to their cultivation system, which involves intercropping with forest trees mainly in the legume family.
