Located in Burundi's Kayanza region at elevations of 1,700 to 1,900 metres above sea level, Kibingo Washing Station works with 1,739 smallholder farmers to produce exceptional washed coffees. Cherries are selectively hand-picked, carefully sorted, washed, and dried on raised beds under strict quality control to create a clean, vibrant cup with delicate fruit and tea-like characteristics. Supported by Greenco, the station also invests in farmer education, environmental sustainability, and long-term community development, helping showcase the remarkable quality and potential of Burundian coffee.
