Burundi coffee, roasted in Australia
64 beans from 40 Australian roasters. The most common roasts are light, medium and medium light. The roasters describe these beans most often as caramel & sweet, stone fruit, berry and citrus.
Burundi grows washed Bourbon at high altitude on small hillside plots. The cup is bright and floral with blackcurrant and orange, close to Kenya and Rwanda but usually lighter on its feet. Kayanza and Ngozi are the northern regions most of it comes from.
