A clean, sweet Grade 1 washed lot from Cajamarca with milk chocolate body and a crisp apple finish.

Peru Washed is a Grade 1 single origin from Cajamarca in northern Peru, grown by the smallholder farmers of Cooperativa Agraria Ecoforest. Founded in 2014 in the province of Jaén, the co-op brings together around 400 member farmers and invests back into them with hands-on training in pruning, fertilising, pest control and harvest practice. The farmers process their own coffee - harvesting, pulping, fermenting and sun-drying on their own farms - before delivering it to the cooperative for final prep and export. That end-to-end care is why this lot grades out at Grade 1, the top grade for Peruvian coffee. Roasted weekly at our Hurstville roastery in Sydney. Clean, sweet, balanced. Approachable, but not boring.
