What Barrio Collective coffee say

Seasonal espresso

Winter No. 2 2026

Colombia, Peru & Ethiopia

It is Winter in Canberra and we are excited for some fresh coffee arrivals to heat our cosy roastery. The base is La Union from Colombia which is a small town in Nariño where the weather is cool, the rain is plentiful and the soil is perfect for quality coffee. This is a stellar example of southern Colombian coffee with plenty of sweetness and rich chocolate notes. We’ve then layered a small producer lot from Peru, Gallito de la Rocas to bring texture and a real choc hazelnut vibe. And the cherry on top is the delicate and complex Washed grade 1 Chebega from Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. This coffee amps up the aromatics and soft fruit character of the blend.

So here it is, a super decadent and fresh seasonal blend comprised of three epic coffees to get us through whatever this summer brings!

We recommend extracting 60 mls of espresso from 20 grams of coffee in 25-30 seconds
