Our original espresso blend, named after the street it’s roasted on. Progress is our most versatile coffee, balanced and sweet whether you’re drinking it black or with milk. A combination of in season partnership coffees that keep it fresh and interesting.

Progress, affectionately known as Proggy, lives by two simple rules, always small holders, always tasty. Representing all the best parts of Commonfolk, Progress is a symbol of the values we’re built on, celebrating our community of partners, the quality coffee they produce and a pioneering attitude towards constantly improving. To mention all the small holders that have passed through this blend would be nigh on impossible, but you can bet it will almost always be 100% washed coffee, from our pals all across the globe.

Dynamic in nature, Progress is ever shifting. Combining coffees from our Ugandan partners from Zukuka Bora, Colombian partners Diego and Derlin from Diamante or the Divino Niño producer group, Nicaraguan partners from La Estrella, and hopefully soon our fledgling partnership in Mexico, Tatik San Ildefonso. Like John, George, and Paul, our partners take turns in Progress, the different versions all equally captivating, and a celebration of each coffee. All the variations have a stone fruit and citrus element, with consistent milk chocolate and caramel undertones.
