Founded by Merilyn Parker and Wells Trenfield, named after their son Jasper.

With deep roots in the art world, coffee has become our palette. We are dedicated to re-humanizing the coffee supply chain, and have formed strong friendships across the Coffee world in our exploration and adventure to the unknown.

We hold in stock Australia’s largest selection of Single Origin beans, Blends, Fairtrade, Organic & Specialty Coffees. We accept into our repertoire only those beans with distinctions of flavour, body, and aroma that satisfy our palate.

We continually strive to better partner with our coffee growers, through initiatives like Fairtrade, The Cafe Femenino Project , and directly helping farmers through projects in Yirgacheffe Kochore in Ethiopia, in partnership with World Vision Australia.

B Corp is a certification for companies taking real strides towards a better future. After answering hundreds of questions about the operations, sustainability, morality, ethics, governance and supplier relationships of our Company, Jasper Coffee became the first coffee roaster in Australia to join the International ranks of B Corp.

If the product is roasted or packed here in Australia, look for an Australian Certification ID, as your guarantee. Our coffees, sugar, drinking chocolate, espresso cleaning powder, are certified by Australian Certified Organic (bud logo) and this system is administered by the Biological Farmers Association www.bfa.org.au.

Having measured our carbon emissions we have now offset our operations with amazing renewable energy projects in India.

We have 24 Shadegrown coffees and 12 of these are Fairtrade Organic Certified coffees.

Jasper Coffee consciously chooses to increase the number of shadegrown coffees that we offer.

Fairtrade is an alternate commercial trading system, independently audited, which embraces community action within a democratic Cooperative structure to ensure a higher than market price for the coffee to each farmer, and elevates the living standards for whole communities through the receipt of payment of a Fairtrade Premium direct to the Cooperative.
