Core Roasters roasts in Brunswick East, in Melbourne's Inner North. The roaster works in small batches and uses packaging that aims to be kind to the environment. Half the beans in stock are single origins, from Ethiopia, Colombia, Burundi and Uganda, and the blends are mostly Colombian coffees. Chelchele is a natural Ethiopian from Yirgacheffe with white peach, honeysuckle and toffee apple notes. Cordillera is a decaf blend of Colombian coffees, with marmalade, nectarine and shortbread notes. Other roasters also sell coffee from Chelchele washing station and Linarco Rodriguez.
