What Lottie Lane Coffee Roasters say

Bright and vibrant with pineapple, cumquat and blueberries.

Colombia Excelso Las Moras Natural is a vibrant showcase of Huila’s celebrated coffee-growing landscape, produced in the renowned region of Pitalito at elevations between 1,700–1,900 metres above sea level. Grown from carefully cultivated Caturra, Bourbon, and Amarilla varietals, this lot highlights the expressive character and depth that natural processing can achieve in Colombian coffee.

The cup opens with spritzy white wine brightness and nectarine-like acidity, unfolding into layers of sweet ripe lemon and cumquat. A boozy, coating mouthfeel carries tart tropical and stonefruit notes through the palate, finishing with lingering malt and chocolate sweetness. The result is both lively and grounded — balancing vivid fruit intensity with warmth, structure, and depth.

This coffee is a standout expression of Huila’s natural process excellence, delivering a complex and memorable profile that shines both as a filter and espresso experience.
