Sigri Estate

Sigri Estate is one of Papua New Guinea's most celebrated coffee properties — a large, well-established farm in the Wahgi Valley of the Western Highlands, sitting at 1,500–1,700 MASL. PNG has a long and proud coffee history, and Sigri is at the top of it: a meticulously managed estate producing washed coffees that consistently stand apart from the broader PNG category for their cleanliness and refinement.

The Wahgi Valley's fertile volcanic soils, reliable rainfall, and warm days with cool highland nights give Sigri coffee a distinctive character: rich dark chocolate and cedar underpin the cup, with tropical stone fruit sweetness and a winey depth that reveals itself as the coffee cools. Full-bodied and low-acid — a naturally approachable coffee that rewards attention.

A great choice for cafés looking for something with genuine character and a clear point of difference from the usual Latin American single origins.
