Miscela

Miscela (pronounced: ‘mi-shell-ah’): Italian for blend. Need we say more? It is what it is – it’s the unnamed and unmarketed blend that the Nonno’s and Nonna’s of Thornbury have been requesting from our shop front for well over 40 years, that only the true locals know about. But now we’ve formalised it, so you don’t need to sneakily write down what percentage of which origin goes into it. This authentic rich, dark brew is typically consumed black, drunk from a ceramic mug and often has teddy bear biscuits dunked into it – add a splash of milk or a spoonful of sugar if you aren’t game enough for the real deal.
