---
Sourced through Perth-based, Ethiopian ex-pats, this fruit filled coffee has been produced by experienced hands. Operating numerous coffee stations, husband and wife team, Gizaw Alemayehu and Frehiwot Mekonnen, are guiding quality to the cup and support to farmers. Following in his father’s footsteps, Gizaw and his wife Frehiwot have fine-tuned their expertise in handling the medley of coffee delivered to their mills from hundreds of small holders. For this lot, the whole, ripe cherries went through the natural process, drying on raised beds for 4-6 weeks intensifying the delicious fruit character in the cup. Beyond turning out quality coffees, Gizaw and Frehiwot’s business is having broader impact within the community of small holder growers with early payment for their harvest, agronomy support and providing an ad-hoc ambulance service.
