Background

The Huila Supremo coffee is produced by the laborious descendants of the Yalcones and is characterized by excellent quality and the green-emerald colour of the bean. The altitude at which the crops of this excellent coffee type are cultivated is ideal to produce its exceptional aroma and taste. The Huila growing area lies east of the Andes Mountains. The region is particularly admired for producing fine coffees which can have some vivid complexities to accompany the basic cup profile. Of all Colombian specialty coffee Supremo is the highest grade based on the fewest physical imperfections in the bean.
