A delicious low caffeine coffee that’s great to enjoy in the morning, at noon and at night.

We chose this rich, creamy but low-free, single estate coffee bean from the Popyayan region of Colombia – where it’s grown, harvested, washed and decaffeinated by one farming family – greatly reducing carbon miles. Psst. The bean grows at an altitude of 1500 to 1900 metres above sea level in volcanic ash soil!

We loved the way this family had developed their own sustainable, and original decaffeinating method, extracting the caffeine using just plain water and a sugar cane by product.

This natural method avoids excessive heat and pressure which means there’s no damage to the bean’s structure – resulting in an amazing low caffeine coffee with an incredible flavour.

Our hand roasted Hunky Dory Low Caffeine beans have a creamy, crema rich brew which is milk chocolatey in flavour with notes of raw honey.

Unusually full bodied, this low caff coffee has all the flavour of regular coffee without the caffeine.

Hunky Dory Coffee tastes delicious with or without milk. Works beautifully with our Ultimate Hot Chocolate for a cosy mocha or a summery milkshake duplicate with Gertrude. Bags are resealable, but beans can also be stored in an air tight container. Keep refrigerated after opening.

One 220g bag will make approximately 12-14 home coffees (typically 15 - 20g per coffee) for home espresso usage.

For plunger ground coffee, it's likely to be less, although ultimately it’s down to your preferred taste.

No. No coffee is totally caffeine-free, there's still a minimal amount of caffeine after the decaffeinating process.
