Espresso Brew Guide

To achieve the perfect "velvety" texture with this specialty dark roast, we recommend a slightly longer yield to let the cacao notes sing. While we provide a starting point, every home coffee machine is different. Factors like pump pressure, grinder quality, and water temperature will vary, so we recommend using these as a guide and tweaking the settings to suit your personal preference.

Espresso

Dose: 22.5g

Yield: 56g (1:2.5 Brew Ratio)

Time: 28–32 seconds

Roaster’s Tip: The 1:2.5 ratio helps stretch out the heavy chocolate notes, preventing the cup from feeling too restricted. It creates a bold base that cuts through milk with ease.

Never wake up to an empty hopper again.

Every batch is roasted in Ravenhall, West Melbourne, ensuring freshness, consistency and the signature Motobean flavour profile.
